Custom projects

Landfall custom projects bring reclaimed sailcloth into residential spaces through thoughtful, functional design.

Custom interior and exterior residential projects may include: Sailcloth curtains and window treatments; cushions for patio furniture and built-in window or bench seating; surfboard shed and equipment covers; outdoor and indoor protective covers; custom shade solutions using reclaimed sails and other maritime materials.

Each piece of home decor is designed, cut and sewn by hand. Original stitching, sail numbers, weathering, and sun fading are preserved as marks of authenticity rather than flaws.

“Emma at Landfall is truly exceptional. She handcrafted a stunning custom curtain for our South Lake Tahoe home using repurposed sails, and the result is nothing short of beautiful. The craftsmanship, creativity, and attention to detail are outstanding-you can feel the care and attention in every stitch. The curtain perfectly compliments our space while adding character, warmth, and a unique story that you simply can't get with anything mass-produced. Emma was a joy to work with from start to finish: thoughtful, talented, and deeply knowledgeable about her materials. If you're looking for something special, sustainable, and made with heart, Emma's work is absolutely worth it. Highly recommend Landfall and her incredible artistry.”

“I worked with Emma from across the country to design and create custom cushions for the banquette in my Maine beach house. She perfectly tied the design into the black and white Japanese prints. Well made, beautiful and very unique. Highly recommend.”
